Another SMUDGE'S MARK Book Giveaway!

See, I told you I'd be posting another giveaway. So here it is:

For a chance to win a copy of SMUDGE'S MARK and other great book-related goodies,

Leave a comment telling me how you (or someone you know) are making your mark in your school, community, city, country or world. What are you doing to make a difference? How are you helping the world become a better place?

The winning comment will be chosen on March 1, 2010 by 12 midnight EST.

I'm looking forward to hearing how you're making your MARK!

(P.S. Yes, an identical contest is being held over at the SMUDGE'S MARK Facebook page. So, FYI one winner will be chosen from each contest)

Thanks for hosting a great giveaway! I helped to organize the charity for Christmas at my work, donating clothes and teen toys to a local runaway shelter here in San Diego...

I try to make a difference by volunteering at my daughters school and also at the Salvation Army food pantry to get food out to people who need it.

I teach night technology classes for parents of the students at my school. It's a free program that runs for 12 weeks each year and this year we've had our biggest turn-out - 30-40 parents! :) I also donate clothes and other items to Goodwill.

Thank you for the giveaway. Your novel looks amazing.

To help out my community, I donate my time between a local elderly home and my local library. At the elderly home, I visit with the guests and help out the staff in any way that I can. It is a lot of fun because they are usually so glad to see you. In a way they have become like another part of my family. The same goes for the staff at my library. I love spending time there sorting out the books and helping people find just the right book. It is very rewarding when they come back and tell me how much they enjoyed a book I recommended.

Thanks so much for your posts everyone! I had a hard time choosing a winner, so, just like I did for the SMUDGE'S MARK Facebook page contest, I had a totally random "shout out a number" draw on Twitter. And Kristen, you won! Congrats! Email your addy to claudia@smudgesmark.com Thanks, everyone else, for playing, too! It was fun! :0)
